Account public key
Goal
Copy the production-monitoring account id. The import rule pastes it into account. The production-monitoring Application is already deployed, so the account exists.
Copy the id
potctl get nats-accounts
Find the row for production-monitoring. Copy the id. CLI output may label it id or publicKey.
NAME ID
production-monitoring ABCD1234...
Replace every <production-monitoring-account-id> in deploy/steps/04-nats-account-import.yaml. Paste the id only. Do not keep the angle brackets.
What you should see
The id is a non-empty string from the production-monitoring row.
potctl describe application production-monitoring
natsConfig.natsRule is production-monitoring-export.
Common mistakes
Copying a different account. Use production-monitoring.
Running this before production monitoring is deployed. The account does not exist yet.
Deploying the import file while the placeholder text is still in account. Alerts and fleet charts on ops-b stay empty.
