iofogctl Resource Management
Deploying New Edge Compute Networks
iofogctl deploys an entire ECN from a single YAML file:
iofogctl deploy -f ecn.yaml
You can also deploy individual components:
iofogctl deploy -f controlplane.yaml
iofogctl deploy -f controller.yaml
iofogctl deploy -f agent.yaml
iofogctl deploy -f application.yaml
Deploy commands are idempotent. If a deploy fails, run the same command again.
Deploy Model, Knowledge, and RuntimeClass YAML the same way, then attach them to Edgelet nodes:
iofogctl deploy -f model.yaml
iofogctl deploy -f knowledge.yaml
iofogctl attach model MODEL_NAME AGENT_NAME…
iofogctl attach knowledge KNOWLEDGE_NAME AGENT_NAME…

Delete Components of Edge Compute Networks
Deleting Control Planes, Controllers, and Edgelet nodes terminates daemons on remote hosts.
iofogctl delete controller alpaca-1
iofogctl delete agent kiwi-1
iofogctl delete application health-care-app
iofogctl delete microservice health-case-ui
iofogctl delete model wafer-defect
iofogctl delete knowledge my-kb
To undo a deletion, re-run the deploy command for that resource.
Wipe an entire ECN:
iofogctl delete all
Delete a namespace and its resources:
iofogctl delete namespace zoo-1 --force
